Candace Ganger Powell is a former Editor for Newsweek & The Dodo, and a writer with thousands of bylines for People, TODAY, PopSugar, Teen Vogue, Business Insider, and more. She’s currently a writer for Parade (Pets) and freelance product reviewer who enjoys a good hair product or dog chew (for her dogs…not her…)

She’s the author of the YA novels, THE INEVITABLE COLLISION OF BIRDIE & BASH (2017) and SIX GOODBYES WE NEVER SAID (2019), and has an essay in the YA mental health anthology, LIFE INSIDE MY MIND (2017). Ganger Powell also works as a ghostwriter for hire, via freelance and through Kevin Anderson & Associates, where she specializes in Middle Grade, YA and Adult Fiction, specifically Thrillers, Cozy Mysteries, Rom-Coms, Literary, and Memoir, as well as sensitivity analysis apropos Puerto Rican culture.

Aside from having past lives as a singer, nanotechnology Editor, and world’s worst vacuum sales rep, Candace—aka—Candyland—is an obsessive marathoner with a fondness for cemetery aesthetics. We won’t discuss her severe Milky Way latte addiction.

FYI: This spicy Latina is TOTALLY awkward in person, so don’t get your hopes up.
